The Riviera with Hydrangea Leaf Plates, 24 Pieces Set by Costa Nova is a dinnerware collection designed to serve six people. It includes 6 dinner plates, 6 salad or dessert plates, 6 bread plates, and 6 salad or dessert plates in the shape of a hydrangea leaf, creating a visually rich and elegant table setting.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the French and Italian Riviera, this set combines organic shapes with striking colours. The Terra + Forêts version features dark brown dinner and bread plates, complemented by green pigmented charger and leaf-shaped plates. The Azur + Tomate version stands out with turquoise plates and light green leaf plates with natural pigments.
Each piece is made from fine stoneware and hand-finished, meaning slight variations in colour and texture are part of its unique, artisanal charm. The interior glaze is glossy with a crackled effect, while the exterior has a sophisticated matte black finish.
Designed by renowned French floral designer Christian Tortu, the set is stackable, resistant to cutlery marks, and suitable for use in the microwave and dishwasher. However, pieces with the Or (gold) finish, when included, are coated with 18-karat gold and must be hand-washed. These gold-detailed pieces are not recommended for use in the microwave, oven, freezer, or dishwasher in order to preserve their beauty and durability.
